Bob Pearson  |  Senior Consultant


Bob is an author, advisor and consultant to firms focused on C-Suite topics with a focus in healthcare and technology.


He has played a key role in building two media firms that are ranked in the top 50 worldwide (GCI Health and Real Chemistry), he led the creation of the Fortune 500’s first global social media function at Dell and he has served as a global leader in communications at Rhone-Poulenc Rorer (now Sanofi) and Novartis, as well as Dell. Bob has worked directly with leading CEOs throughout his career.


He has written five books based on his experience in the public and private sectors. He is currently working on his next book, The Compass, which discusses how to navigate an AI-driven world. He is a regular contributor to the Forbes Communications Council related to the future of marketing and communications.


Since teaching is often the best way to learn what’s next and reinforce what works today, Bob designs and teaches new classes as a lecturer at The University of Texas McCombs School (new digital media models, persuasive selling, generative AI) and for the U.S. Government with a focus on media and technology.


He is an advisor to software firms and has been a board member for healthcare non-profits, the CEO of a healthcare non-profit and a member of a public board.

During Ron Melk’s decades-long career in advertising, promotion and PR, he has experienced firsthand the market dynamics that continue to transform the agency and media landscapes, notably how agencies are perceived by corporate America and how they perceive themselves. Ron has held senior creative, account management and business development positions, and he has worked in dozens of product and service categories. His multi-disciplinary range of marcom agency expertise includes advertising, promotion, research, design, digital marketing and media, PR and corporate communications.


Ron was one of four partners at the New York-based promotion agency Comart which, during his 12-year tenure there, was named the Best Promotion Agency in America by Advertising Age magazine and was eventually purchased and absorbed by the French agency Euro RSCG.


Most recently, he served a major medical center, and several startups in the healthcare space as a marketing communications and PR consultant. His work with Healthcare Data Management, for example, was instrumental in effecting the sale of the company. Ron also was the producer and host of the popular podcast, Your Valuable Home.
